Many people are made to feel that there is something wrong with them or with the way they feel. At Mind Leap Counselling, I support women through healing and personal growth with empathy and practical guidance. Therapy offers a safe space to gain new perspectives, develop healthy ways of coping with life’s stresses, and work toward emotional recovery.
I work with women of all ages to foster clarity, resilience, and meaningful change. I support those who are:
Navigating life transitions such as job loss, bereavement, or other forms of loss
Experiencing depression, anxiety, or chronic stress, including depression in later life (seniors).
Seeking to break generational patterns
Wanting greater self-understanding
Experiencing, or who have experienced, trauma, whether it is big or small.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s needs, helping clients build strengths and find sustainable ways forward.
Hi, I’m Jess!
I’m the face and counsellor behind mind-leap. I am an accredited and registered counsellor through the Australian Counselling Association. I’ve always been interested in the facet of therapy and understanding individual’s minds, feelings, and emotions, through empathy. Whilst I worked as a teacher for a big chunk of my life, I knew deep down I wanted to be working with and supporting women on a deeper level. Thus, I went back to University to study counselling and Mind Leap was born.
